Dawn had such a soft voice on the phone. No matter how clear she try to emphases her name or voice. People still thought her name was something other than Dawn. Or because it was a low voice they thought her voice was a man. So one day when I called in I got her on the phone, and she did not realize it was me on the phone, so I kept calling her everything but Dawn. Boy oh Boy did she let me have it when I ended the call with OK then Bob Bye BOB.. We laughed many a day about that. She could take a joke. and she could give one too. She was a really good friend to me. We were cubicle mates at work. I’ll miss her forever. I used to make her promise if I ever died to tell my kids and grandkids how much I loved them. She always said she would. She would ask me every time to exchange phone numbers. We never got around to it. But every time she told me how much she loved her boys. How special her relationships were with them. How each one was different. How much she believed in them. Unwaivering belief, no matter the issue. She had Family down. If we could bottle up what she had in family and sell it. we would all be rich. Her trips to see her Mom. she prepared ever time with such gusto. looked forward to them. never complained about the drive or giving up time. she looked forward. she was so happy her mom had found love again . she has something very special. I never saw her argue with anyone. I wonder if she chased her brothers. Or if they chased away every guy that ever wanted to say hi.
Who am I gonna share all my lunches with now Bob?

I worked with Dawn at Fairview and remembered a phone call from her with needing my assistance on an account and of course I helped her but I did know her name at that time. When I was in the break room she spoke to me and said hi “Terry” and I thought to myself who is this lady and she stated I’m Dawn thanks for your help today with that account and ever since that day, we never stop speaking and talking about our children and family. She was the sweetest mild spirited person I ever met, she monotone voice on the phone no matter what. RIH Dawn you will be missed from your Fairview family. My prayers go out to her family.

I still have one of the most precious memories of Dawn, I own one of her dogs puppies, Tito. He’s 9 1/2 years old now and not a day will go by when I won’t think of her when I look at Tito. We spent time together with our dogs and enjoyed laughs. She was such a sweet gentle soul and take comfort in knowing that now she’s reunited in everlasting joy with her father and puppy Shania. Beautiful woman taken from us too soon. Love you Dawn and will always miss you.

My heart truly breaks for Dawn’s family. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. Dawn was so polite and helpful I enjoyed the time we worked together at Fairview. Dawn always gave me a chuckle with the way she would say “How are YOUUU” in the true Minnesotan accent way.
I am not originally from Minnesota so it is one of those little things I always notice in the way some people speak up here and it was such a joy to hear her say it. Dawn will be missed.

I have known and worked with dawn for about 12 years. She was always quiet but very willing to help out if needed.
I was truly taken aback and deeply saddened by the news of Dawn’s passing. My deepest sympathies to the family and many friends of this nice and wonderful lady. Dawn had a lovely calming spirit. The Team at Fairview will miss you! I will miss you! Especially when we see your name pop up in the account notes. :-(
Rest In Peace Dawn

My heart and prayers go out to the family and friends of Dawn. She was a true kindred spirit. She was kind, sweet, welcoming, funny and oh so helpful. I worked with Dawn at Fairview. I will never forget when I watered her plant in error and made a mess at her desk by getting dirt on her cube wall, she was such a clean freak. Even though I cleaned it up, she made it sparkle, Just like in life She always sparkled and made the world sparkle with her presence. She would always tease me about not watering her plants from then on out. It saddens me that I will never be able to see her kind face again. I will never forget her and she will be truly missed by her Fairview friends and family. May god hold us all thru these difficult times.
Rest In Peace Angel Dawn.

It is with shock and disbelief that I am sending my deepest condolences to the Richard’s family. Dawn was one of my BEST friends in high school and after. We were roommates for years in the cities. I have many great memories of us growing up together. When I think of those memories I cant help but smile. (Your blue Nova car, Uncle Sams, Disco, dressing up for Halloween, going to out door concerts, Many parties, Taylors Falls, and hanging at Sandy’s cabin on Green Lake) We did some pretty crazy things Dawn Sandy and me. When we started our families we lost touch but later reconnected once again, thanks to her son who hooked her up on facebook. Thank you! RIP Dawn from me, Jack and all your friends from the gang. ie, Earleen, Diane, Mitch, Joe, Nora, Linda. My prayers are with her family, may time and memories help you heal. I know I will miss her dearly, but am thankful for her memories and friendship.
