Kathy Woods, age 57, of Mora, died November 20, 2017 at her home. A memorial visitation will be held from 5 – 8 P.M. on Friday, November 24th at Strike Life Tributes – ISANTI. There will be a sharing time at 7 P.M.
Kathryn Denise Woods was born September 23, 1960 in Westwood, California to Carl and Nancy (LoGreco) Davis. She was raised in Rush City, Minnesota. She married Thomas Woods, Sr. on September 29, 2001. They bought their home in Mora in 2009 where she had since lived. She worked at Better Avenues Group Home in Mora. Her hobbies included singing and performing, gardening, fishing, camping and Zip Line.
Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Carl Davis; sister, Carla Barrett; husband, Tom Woods on December 15, 2016. She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Higgins and fiancé Donald Rihel; mother, Nancy Docherty; step sons, Tom (Celine) Woods, Jr., Braun (Rochelle) Woods, Shaun Woods (Jill Berry), Jason Hough; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Dearest Kathy,
no words can explain how I feel right now. heartbroken, mad and so confused. You were a wonderful friend to me and my children and I wish we could have made a difference on your choice at the end.
I pray that you can still hear what I’m saying right now because I love you so much and you will always be in my heart. We had so many wonderful years together and some that were quite entertaining. You and Tom will forever be in my heart.
