Wendi Marie Barrett, age 49, of Cambridge died November 10, 2017. A service honoring Wendi’s life will be held at New Hope Community Church Cambridge Campus, 33030 Vickers St NE, Cambridge 55008 on Sunday, November 19th at 3:30pm. All who knew and loved Wendi are welcome to attend.
Wendi Marie Barrett, age 49, of Cambridge passed away on November 10th, 2017.
Wendi enjoyed thrift shopping, watching and talking about sports, playing cribbage, giving rides to anyone who needed one, and spending time with her dogs. She was very involved in her NA groups, home groups, and church. Anyone who knew Wendi knew of her endless love of making sure her basketball shorts matched her tennis shoes.
Wendi was loved by her biological parents, Ruth and Duane (Bill) Nelson, her adoptive parents, John and Bobbi Stauffer, her children, John (Rachel) Barrett and Kelsie (Tim) Hasser, her brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, her faithful four-legged companions, Sarge and Sergio, along with many other friends and family members.
Wendi held a special place in my heart, still does and will always. “Austin” I will love you forever, “Abilene”
Your at peace now, I have our memories, you taught me the line dance to the song Fishing in the dark. I know your dancing all the line dance songs now .Be sure to give Rick C. a big hug along with everyone else we knew from Austin. I told Marshall, Until we meet again, and we will, Always Lorena
