John P. “Johnny” Armstrong, age 22, of Mora died December 22, 2017 in Mora as the result of an automobile accident. A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M., with a service starting at 7:00 P.M. Friday, December 29th at Strike Life Tributes in Cambridge.
John Phillip Armstrong was born April 12, 1995 in Fridley, Minnesota to John W. and Julie (Bastian) Armstrong. He attended school in Anoka, St. Francis, Hinckley and then graduated from Mora High School. Johnny was a hardworking, good kid who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved racing motocross. He was loved much and will be forever missed.
Johnny died December 22, 2017 in Mora as the result of an automobile accident. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Julie Stone; father, John W. Armstrong, Jr.; sister, Toshina Koosman; grandmother, Sandra Armstrong; uncle, Stewart (Janelle) Bastian; cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, John Armstrong, Sr, Eldred Bastian, Gloria VanDanaker and Albert VanDanaker; uncle, Bradley Bastian; and aunt, Lynn Marie Hanson-Armstrong.
