Phyllis L. Kable, age 96, of East Bethel died March 27, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 31st at Strike Life Tributes in Isanti. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Isanti Union Cemetery.
Phyllis supported the Isanti County Humane Society and memorials are preferred sent to them at PO Box 215, Cambridge, MN 55008.
Phyllis Louise Kable was born April 15, 1921 and passed away on March 27, 2018 at the age of 96 years, 347 days. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert; parents, Stanley and Edna Jones; and brother, Wendell Jones. Phyllis is survived by her son, Richard and a multitude of friends and neighbors. Phyllis is best known for the many decades of dedicated teaching she gave to children in the East Bethel/Cedar area. She began in a one room school house and then moved to Cedar Elementary where she remained for the remainder of her career. Her legacy lives on in all those students whose lives were bettered by her inspired teaching.

Phyllis was also a teacher of mine and brings fond memories back. Teaching was in her heart and soul and allowed her to see the potential her students had.
