Phyllis D. Ahlstrom, age 82, of Isanti died April 19, 2018 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 25th at Strike Life Tributes in Isanti. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service and also from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 24th also at Strike Life Tributes in Isanti. Interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Phyllis Darlene Ahlstrom was born December 9, 1935 in Billings, Montana to Lynn and Hazel
Parkhurst. She was raised in the Twin Cities. On August 6, 1955, she married Ronald Ahlstrom and they made their first home in Coon Rapids where she worked for the City of Coon Rapids. In 1976 they moved to Isanti where she worked at Landmark Community Bank for 31 years. Phyllis was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved watching the family playing softball. She also enjoyed the Minnesota Twins, singing and dancing, playing cards and going to the casino. She always looked forward to having lunch with family and friends at Senior Dining at the Isanti Community Center.
Phyllis passed away April 19, 2018 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital at the age of 82 years, 4 months and 10 days. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ronald who passed in 2007. Phyllis is survived by 2 children, Craig (Merri) Ahlstrom of Isanti, Dawn Ahlstrom and fiancé Tim Roen of Mora; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and by many other relatives and friends.

It has been a long time since I have seen Phyllis. I know she loved her Apple pie and we had great times
when she was able to come into the Creamery with Ron. I forgot she worked at the bank for so many years. I am proud to have known her.
