In Memory of Ty Crawford

Ty Crawford, age 78, of Oak Grove died May 29, 2018 at JA Wedum Hospice Residence in Brooklyn Park. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, June 2nd at Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Francis. A visitation will begin 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Tyrone Gay Crawford was born September 26, 1939 in Swanville, Minnesota to Harold and Zelna (Henifin) Crawford. He was raised in Swanville and graduated from Swanville High School. Ty married Carol Zarns on June 20, 1959 and they made their home in Minneapolis. Ty was employed by Metallurgical Inc. in Minneapolis for 42 years, retiring in 2001. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in St. Francis since 1989. Ty was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, golfing, bowling and in his younger years playing softball. He was an extremely kind, generous, hardworking person. Ty was a wonderful, supportive husband and father.

Ty went to heaven on May 29, 2018 at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 3 days. He is survived by his wife, Carol; 2 daughters, Kim (Lyle) Paulson, Jill (Ragnar) Freeburg; 5 grandsons, Dylan (Courtney), Trevor (Kaylene), Luke, Spencer, Gavin; 1 great-grandson, Wyatt; 2 sisters, Leota Carlson, Bonita (Jim) Zarns; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
