Wendy Bittis, age 63, of Bethel died April 25, 2018 at her home. A celebration of Wendy’s life will be held on Sunday, June 3, from noon to 2 P.M. at Rum River North County Park, 23100 Rum River Blvd. NW, St. Francis, MN 55070. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on June 4 at 10:00 A.M. Assembly area #2. Wendy and her late husband, Robert, will be interred at the same time.
Wendy Ann Bittis was born in Minneapolis to Everett and Doris (Edin) Beckman. She was raised in Minneapolis and graduated from Irondale High School, Class of 1973. Wendy married Robert Bittis on June 9, 1973 in Fridley. They lived in Seattle for seven years and they moved to Bethel in 1995.Wendy was an outdoors person and enjoyed gardening and her flower’s, she loved her cats and watching the butterfly’s. She also enjoyed sewing and working on arts and crafts.
Wendy passed away at her home in Bethel on April 25th. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, Rusty; and sister, Janet. She is survived by 1 son, Judd ( Alicia) Bittis; 5 grandchildren, Brodey, Jackson, Ella, Olivia and Lacie (Dillon); 1 great-grandson, Easton; boyfriend, Tom Pagel; 2 sisters, Claudia, Judy (Ken) LeVert; special friends, Kim Thorson and Terri Sanford; and by many other relatives and friends.

Wendy was a very special friend to me, no matter the miles or time that has passed we were friends to the end. I do not think she realized how important she was to us. I miss her more then she could ever imagine, i told her that in March and even now it brings Tears to my eyes that I lost a true friend i will miss your laugh and Spunk you had. (Thanks for all the smiles and Adventures we had growing up) .

I remember the road trip when I help Wendy and Rob move to Seattle. Actually it was Ames Lake Road in Redmond a suburb of Seattle. What a fun trip. I remember the camping we did on warehouser land. I remember the clamming we did at Muckleteal. A lot of great memories of Wendy and Rob in Minnesota. You will be missed.
