Lester L. Tessness, age 76, of North Branch passed away peacefully at his home on July 17, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, July 22nd at Trinity Lutheran Church in North Branch. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Sunday at the church. Burial will be in Cambridge Union Cemetery.
Lester L. Tessness, age 76 of North Branch, MN passed away peacefully at his home on July 17, 2018.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1961-1964. Lester was a 50 year brick mason who began his career with Wittcher Construction and retired from Axel H. Ohman Concrete and Masonry.
He is preceded in death by parents Rudolph and Georgia Tessness; brothers, Lyle and Duane; brother-in-law, Jack Franke; nephew, Todd Tessness; and stepchildren, Darri Niesen and Theresa Nowack.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marcia; sons, Duane and Darrell (Michelle) Tessness; sister, Delonda Franke; brother, Melvin (Connie); stepchildren, Sherri Koran (Steve) and David Purfeerst; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
So sad by this. He was the sweetest, classy, handsome and we’ll dressed Man. Who adored his wife…they looked at each other like no one else in the world existed. Heaven gained quite the angel. Love and hugs to everyone. He and Marcia have always felt like family to me.
Les was a great guy and a good friend.
