Doris M. Larson, age 86, of Riverbank, California, formerly of Isanti, died August 13, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Modesto, California. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 25th at Strike Life Tributes – CAMBRIDGE with visitation one hour before the service.
It is with great sadness that the family of Doris Larson announces her passing after a brief illness on Monday August 13, 2018, at the age of 86.
Doris is survived by her 5 children, Marian (Russell) Enabnit of Clear Lake, Iowa, David (Maggie) Larson of Isanti, Minnesota, Daniel Larson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Steven (Sharolyn) Larson of Oakdale, California, and John (Angela) Larson of Cambridge, Minnesota, and one brother Edward (Bonnie) Rowley of St. Louis, Missouri.
Doris leaves a legacy of 16 loving grandchildren, Laura Freeman, Douglas Enabnit, Lisa Purcell, Mathew Larson, Maria Ellingson, Timothy Larson, Amy Cheney, Becky Kazana, Jacob Larson, Andrew Larson, Alexandra Larson, Brent Larson, Samantha Larson, Luke Larson, Kate Larson, and Jack Larson as well as her 23 great grandchildren.
Doris was born in New York City on May 8, 1932 and lived in a variety of places until moving to St. Louis, Missouri where she met and married Randolph G. Larson on October 10, 1953. Doris and Randy made their home in Fridley, Minnesota until they retired to Cambridge, Minnesota in 1992. Doris and Randy were married for 42 years. In 2010, Doris moved to Riverbank, California where she resided until her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph and brother, John Rowley.
