John G. Hall, Jr., age 77, of Isanti passed away August 27, 2018. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 31st at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Isanti. A memorial visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.
John Grayson Hall, Jr. was born August 4, 1941 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to John and Bernice (Miller) Hall. He was raised in Minneapolis and graduated from Minneapolis South High School in 1959.
In 1963 John was united in marriage to Theresa Hart at Ascension Catholic Church. They made their home and raised their family in Isanti.
John was full of life, outgoing and engaging. He always had a joke or story to tell. John worked as a UPS driver for 30 years until his retirement. He was also a school bus driver for the Cambridge-Isanti School District for 11 years. John along with Theresa owned and operated the Outdoorsman restaurant in Cambridge for many years. He especially enjoyed the restaurant business because he could socialize with the patrons. John loved to fish, play cribbage and was an avid Trap Shooter. John was an active member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and for many years he ran the church food stand at the county rodeo. John was loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed.
John passed away August 27, 2018 at Birchwood Senior Living in Forest Lake at the age of 77 years and 23 days. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Hall.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Theresa; daughter, Terri Ann (Chris) Hungerford; son, Brian (Amy) Hall; four siblings, Joyce (Fred) Segler, James (Josie) Hall, Joel (Patti) Hall, and Jane (Kevin) Rennie; six grandchildren, Kyra, Cameron, Cale, Marcus, Madison and Mya; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
