Randy B. Burley, age 69, of St. Cloud, died unexpectedly at home July 31, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 9th at Strike Life Tributes in Cambridge. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Randy Bruce Burley was born December 12, 1948 in Anoka, Minnesota to Richard and Delores (Main) Burley. He was raised in the Cedar area and went to St. Francis High School. Randy then served his country in the US Army in Vietnam. Upon returning from Vietnam he spent some time studying at Anoka Ramsey Community College. Randy married Debra Ricke and they had four children; Jennifer, Jason, Sara, and Josh. Randy then started working for TEAM Industries Motek for a while and then moved his family to Roy Lake, MN where he worked for Buckboard Enterprise. Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Randy eventually made his home in St. Cloud where he worked as lead person at Electrolux. After retiring from Electrolux Randy enjoyed playing with his dogs and hanging out on the deck. He also liked working on his classic truck, things around the house and taking care of his lawn.
Randy was a very kind person. He always welcomed company and showed a lot of love and caring to many. He was a very gracious host when someone came to his home. He also liked to crack a joke now and then and also liked to talk about the good times. Randy always had a smile and looked towards the brighter things in life. Randy loved playing with children and made time for his grandchildren whenever they came to visit.
Randy passed away unexpectedly at home July 31, 2018 at the age of 69 years, 7 months and 19 days. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard; stepfather, Ed Lindgren; and two brothers, Rick and Mike.
Randy is survived by four children, Jennifer Okeson, Jason Burley, Sara (David) Gordon, and Josh Burley (Megan Kortan); mother, Delores Lindgren; brother, Steve (Darlene) Burley; two sisters, Pam (Jeff) Emily, and Kim (Tim) Erickson; sister-in-law, Sue Burley; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and by many other relatives and friends.
