George E. Kurvers, age 72, of East BethelĀ died unexpectedly at his home on September 22, 2018. A visitation will be held from 5 – 8 P.M. on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Strike Life Tributes in CAMBRIDGE. There will be a private family burial.
George Earl Kurvers was born January 10, 1946 in St. Paul to George Henry and Laura (Hitchcock) Kurvers. He was raised in St. Paul and attended Mechanics Arts High School. George served in the Navy for four years. On July 23, 1965 he married Linda LaVee Murray. After his military service they made their home in St. Paul, Hinckley, Cambridge, Brook Park, and recently East Bethel. George retired from Burlington Northern Railroad after 27 years. He worked on many old cars and tractors over the years. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren and wintering in Florida for the past several years.
George passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 22, 2018 at the age of 72 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Edward George Kurvers, and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda; 2 sons, Robert (Amy) and Bill (Mary); 4 grandchildren, Stephanie, Sara, Alex, Grace; and by many other relatives and friends.

I’m sorry to hear of the passing of George. I always enjoyed visiting with him when he used to bring his Cadillac in for service in Pine City. He always had something interesting to talk about.
