Holly Orvis, age 67, of Cambridge died September 25, 2018 at home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 29th at Strike Life Tributes in Cambridge. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Cambridge Union Cemetery.
Hollis “Holly” Anne Orvis was born November 14, 1950 in Rush City, Minnesota to Erwin and Marjorie (Youngquist) McHale. Holly graduated from North Branch High School in 1968. She married Robert A. Orvis on October 18, 1997. Holly worked as a Human Services Technician at the Cambridge State Hospital for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, holidays with family, and garage sales with her late husband. Holly liked music in the park and loved the local band, The White Side Walls. Her all-time favorite concert was The Beach Boys. Holly was fond of having a good hamburger with raw onions with a cold beer from Cambridge Bar and Grill.
Holly passed away September 25, 2018 at home surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 67 years, 10 months and 11 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, Erwin McHale and Marjorie Treichel, and her husband, Robert A. Orvis.
She will be lovingly remembered by three daughters, Rhonda (Barry) Brown of Cambridge, Jaime (Adrian) Johnson of Arlington, TN, and Jolene Hoysler (Will Bryan) of Woodbury; grandchildren, Danyel Hoysler (Cody Jellison), Alexus Brown (Aaron Kordiak), Samuel Brown (Makayla Carlson), Isaiah Ruth (Kaylee Pasket), Teagan Brown, M’Kaiah Johnson, Lanaya HoyslerLaurent, Ethan Brown, and Marley HoyslerDavis; great-grandchildren, Trinitee Jellison, Ryder Jellison, and a baby due in May; sister, Colleen Rydeen, nieces, Darci and Danelle; mother-in-law, Marie Orvis; and many other relatives, loved ones, and friends.
RIP Holly. Such a wonderful lady, just awesome!! I am so sorry for her family. Lots of good memories!!
I am so sorry for the loss to her family. I worked with Holly for many many years first at Cambridge Regional Center, then at the off campus DAC 4 Star Products. Many Many good memories of Holly.
