Marion Keifenheim, age 93, of Isanti passed away September 20, 2018 at Prairie Senior Cottages in Isanti. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church located at 310 Main Ave N in Red Lake Falls, MN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Red Lake Falls, MN, or to a charity of your choice. Condolences may be sent in care of Strike Life Tributes PO Box 37, Isanti, MN 55040.
Marion was born March 31, 1925 to parents Carl O. Olson and Alma (Olson) Olson in Queen Township, Polk County, Minnesota. She attended Sunnyside Country School and graduated from Fosston High School in 1942.
On February 3, 1948 she was united in marriage to Lester J. Keifenheim in Red Lake Falls, MN where they made their home together until Les’s passing in 1993. She was employed by Red Lake County until her retirement in the mid 1980’s. Marion and Lester enjoyed golf, cards and fishing. Marion always had time for family and her many friends. Her sons always looked forward to her lefse care packages, her successful endeavor of getting that recipe just right!
Marion is survived by her brother Lloyd Olson of Fosston, MN, sons Larry Keifenheim of Arizona, Arne Keifenheim and his wife Ginny of St. Francis, MN, their children Katie (Joe) Greshowak of Sartell, MN, Bradley (Erin) Keifenheim of Eagan, MN and Brian (Poppy) Keifenheim of Atherton, CA, great grandchildren Charlie Greshowak, Eddie Keifenheim and Molly Keifenheim, sisters-in-law Marita Olson of Rochester, MN and Betty Olson of Valier, MT.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lester, sister Gladys, brothers Clifford, Richard and Howard.
