Dan “Dano” Lindquist, age 45, of Cambridge died unexpectedly October 14, 2018 in Pine City. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, OCTOBER 27th at Lakeside Christian Church, 32393 Rendova Circle NE, Cambridge. After the opening service the Celebration of Life will continue until 4:00 P.M. Inurnment will be in Lakeside Cemetery at a later date.
Daniel “Dano” Wayne Lindquist was born July 16, 1973 in Cambridge, Minnesota to Dennis and Marlys (Martin) Lindquist. He grew up and attended school in Cambridge. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, fishing, hiking, cliff jumping, outdoor activities, playing cards, playing coin dozer at the county fair, Vikings games, demo derbies, garage sales, auctions, working on cars, and some not so legal activities. Dan was a giving person and although he had little himself, he always made sure others had food and presents. He will be dearly missed.
Dan passed away unexpectedly October 14, 2018 in Pine City at the age of 45 years, 2 months and 28 days. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marlys Lindquist, and Grandfather, Floyd Martin.
He is survived by his daughter, Brandi Selix of Cambridge; son, Devin O’Connor, of Spring Lake Park; daughter, Caitlan Wolkenhauer of Fessenden, ND; father, Dennis Lindquist and wife Charlotte of Cambridge; grandmother, Dorothy Martin of Bradford; sisters, Cindy Olson of Cambridge, Tammy Lindquist of Cambridge, and Lori Lindquist (Gary Klingner) of Pine City; nieces and nephews, Matthew, Kalley, Brady, Renee and Sierra; girlfriend, Michelle Berube and her daughter, Brandie; and many other relatives and friends.
My heart goes out to the Lindquist Family. Boonie always made us laugh with his great sense of humor when he would visit Goodrich. God be with you all. My condolences.

I remember once when I had nothing, Dano gave me his last twenty dollars. One of the most generous and caring people I have ever known.
