Darrin James Fredrick was born October 22, 1970 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He passed away unexpectedly at home at the age of 47 on Sunday, October 7, 2018. His family moved to Bradford Township when he was 7. In 1981, at age 11, they moved to a small farm in Dalbo, Minnesota.
He married Annissa Holt and they had two children, Shalea and James. They later divorced. He met Deb Wesloh from Princeton. They married. She had a son, Zach, and together they had Miranda and Jay.
Darrin learned many things on the farm that were useful over the years and liked the country. He went on to do a variety of jobs, but really liked lawn irrigation. He had his own business, Reflection Irrigation from 1998 ‘til 2008. In recent years, he worked with his dear friend, Gary Pestel, of Sun Irrigation; the man that introduced him to the business years ago. Darrin was often told, “You’re the best!” and “How did you figure that out so fast?” Darrin loved hanging out with his friends and even though there was less of that recently, they all still felt the connection. Darrin enjoyed 80’s music, playing cards, hunting, fishing and going to the casino to play and people watch. He had a mischievous side and liked to tease a little.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald; father-in-law, Jerry Wesloh; grandparents; aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife, Deb, with whom he was separated; his children, Shalea, James, Zach, Miranda and Jay; 4 grandchildren; mother, Edna Carlson; sister, Lora (Darren) Collis; brother, Dean; uncle, David Hedman; nieces, nephews and friends.

My precious life-long friend Darrin, how I loved to laugh with him. He will be deeply missed. I can hardly bare the thought of knowing he is no longer here. Until we meet again, my friend, I will hold your love and memory close to my heart . . .
