James “Jim” Butler, age 83, of Cambridge died November 8, 2018 at home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 P.M. Sunday, NOVEMBER 18th at Strike Life Tributes in Cambridge with a time for visiting 1/2 hour prior.
James “Jim” Butler was born April 19, 1935 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to John Brown Butler and Bernice Jaspers (Simpson). He drove bus at MTC in Minneapolis and was also a Project Mobility Driver and Trainer. Jim was a Unity Minister and served churches in Muskogee, Oklahoma and Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He also was a Chaplain at Bethany Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. In 1999 Jim and Marjie moved to Cambridge. Jim also drove bus for the Cambridge-Isanti School District for 7 years. His hobbies included golfing and bowling.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Marjie; children, Kathy, Jim, Teresa, Dan, Pam and families; sisters, Diane, Carol, Pat and families; other relatives and friends.
