Shannon Wisen, age 31, of Cambridge died November 3, 2018 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 10 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 19001 Jackson St NE, East Bethel. A time for visiting will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. The family requests no blue flowers.
Shannon Marie Wisen was born in Fridley on February 16, 1987 to Troy and Laurie (Seymour) Slater. She was raised in East Bethel and graduated from St. Francis High School, Class of 2005. Shannon married Joseph Wisen on September 8, 2012 and they made their home in rural Cambridge. Shannon was employed by Clean Response in St. Paul. She loved her family and all of the family activities. She also enjoyed trapshooting, riding horses, going to horse shows, braiding reins and crafting.
Shannon died on November 3, 2018, at the age of 31 years, at her home from brain cancer. Shannon is survived by her husband Joe; 2 children, Memphis and Kippling; parents, Troy and Laurie Slater; sister, Terri (Dakota) Hubbard; grandparents, Gordon Seymour, Kris Seymour, Patricia Slater; great-grandma, Jennie Slater; mother and father-in law, Chris and Jeff Wisen; and by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Arlene Seymour, Terry Slater; great-grandparents, Evelyn and Lester Palmer, Donald Slater; uncle, Nathan Slater.
Shannon shared her love and joy with everyone she met! She will be missed dearly! Prayers to your family.
