Samantha McKinney, age 51, of Duluth passed away December 21, 2018 at her sister’s home in Cambridge. A memorial celebration with Samantha’s friends and family will be held in Michigan on July 27th, 2019 at Hunter’s Glen at 1132 Hunters Glen Blvd. Wayland Michigan from 3pm to 5 pm.
On December 21, 2018 we mourned the passing of Samantha Renae McKinney. She will be greatly missed by her son’s Damian, Dorian, their father Darren, her siblings Ellen, Belynda, Brian, and all her family and friends.
Samantha was born December 31, 1968 to Rickie Melvina Moore and William Arthur McKinney in Grand Rapids Michigan. She lived her life courageously as a strong lady standing for those in need and speaking truth for justice and love.
We will have a memorial service this summer in Michigan to honor her memory. Sammy you are always loved, now and throughout infinity.

Samantha will be missed. Many people who loved her will now hold her again. That includes her father, who was so proud of his little girls. He would bring them to work at Trill’s Texaco in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to show them off.
You and Ellen were a part of our family for a short time, but those memories will last forever. I affectionately called you Toad during our brief time together. May you rest in peace, Toad.
