Patricia “Patty” Allen, age 69, of Braham died peacefully at home January 16, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 21st at Strike Life Tributes in Cambridge with visiting time 1/2 hour prior to the service. Interment will be in St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery in Milbank, South Dakota. Memorials are suggested to Allina Hospice.
Patricia “Patty” Lou Allen was born June 21, 1949 in Milbank, South Dakota to Lyle and Genevieve Allen. Throughout her long life, Patti received bountiful gifts of love and attention from her parents, grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and devoted caregivers. Her beautiful smile was a treasure for all who knew her.
Our precious Patty is now in heaven with her mama, dad, and brother. We’ll always remember her determined spirit, beautiful smile, little giggle and sparkling blue eyes. She passed away January 16, 2019 at the Braham Group Home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle “Mike” and Genevieve Allen, and her older brother, Mickey. She is survived by cousins, other relatives and her excellent caregivers.
Patty was a wonderful and fun cousin. She was the center of everything!
For a non verbal personal she clearly communicated her wants, her love of family and life. She loved people and they loved her right back. For a small handicapped girl, she was the epitome of living life to it’s fullest.
Thanks to family, caretakers,friends she had the best!
Hopes she puts in a good word about all of us left behind to the Big Guy.
