Merilee Buttacavoli, age 64, of Cambridge and formerly of East St. Paul, died February 16, 2019 at Cambridge Medical Center. A visitation will be at 12:00 P.M. with a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Spirit River Church in Isanti. There will also be an open reception directly following the service for friends and family.
Merilee Buttacavoli (Sitters), age 64, of Cambridge and formerly of Inver Grove Heights and St. Paul (Eastside), passed surrounded by family after a hard fought battle with cancer on February 16, 2019.
Merilee was passionate, caring, and giving. Always prepared for a new adventure, she was a free spirit full of life, creativity, and an inner light which never dimmed.
Merilee is survived by her mother, Marjorie Lallas, four children; Amber Buttacavoli (Jaimon), Anthony ‘Tony’ (Laurie) Buttacavoli, Aaron Buttacavoli (Jess), and Adam Buttacavoli (Marilisa); four siblings; sister, Darilee Frederickson (Walter); sister, Lorilee Lynaugh (Timothy), brother, Randy Sitters (Victoria); sister, Jodi Beguhl (Gregory), 14 grandchildren; Jacquelin, Madelin, Arianna, Jason, Nathaniel, Savanna, Emilia, Olivia, Austin, Allison, Jace, Zachary, Austin, and Tanner; 4 great-grandchildren, Malakiah, Isabella, Elena, Malik; and by her special friend, John Marks. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Sitters, father of her children, Ronald Buttacavoli, and nephew Josh Lynaugh.

Then we worked together at Outback Steakhouse. We are all sorry for your loss.
