Rosemarie H. Voight, age 82, of Isanti, died at home on February 1, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 6th at South Isanti Baptist Church, 3367 County Road 5, Isanti. A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Tuesday, February 5th at Strike Life Tributes in CAMBRIDGE and also one hour prior to the funeral Wednesday at the church.
Rosemarie Helen Voight was born May 6, 1936 in Spider Lake Township, Wisconsin, to Onni and Helen (Purtilo) Koskinen. She was raised in Spider Lake and Round Lake, Wisconsin, and graduated from Hayward High School. On July 16, 1952 she married Carl Voight in Duluth. While Carl was in the Air Force, they made their homes in Shreveport, Louisiana, in Germany for a year-and-a-half, and in San Antonio, TX. After Carl’s military service, they came back to Hayward to live, until moving to the Twin Cities in 1959. They moved to rural Isanti twenty-five years ago where they have since made their home. Rosemarie was a realtor for 50 years, beginning with Edina Reality and then with Turpen Realty in Isanti County. She was an active member of South Isanti Baptist Church. She loved working in her vegetable and flower gardens, trying new recipes, sewing, and reading. She found great joy sharing in the lives of her family, especially her 43 great grandchildren, and praying for them each daily.
Rosemarie died February 1, 2019 at home at the age of 82 years. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Brenda Voight; 2 great-granddaughters, Allison Voight, Alice Reed.
Rosemarie is survived by her husband, Carl Voight of Isanti; 3 children, Allan (Linda) Voight of Apple Valley, Bryan (Faith) Voight of Farmington, Wendy (Dan) Packa of Cherry, Minnesota; brother, Onni (Pat) Koskinen of Dallas, Texas; 17 grandchildren, Eric (Katie) Voight, Emily (Scott) Winkels, Laura (Silas) Morgan, Melissa (Mike) Pendino, Joel (Jessica) Voight, Nathan (Amy) Voight, Daniel (Rose) Voight, Abram Voight, Anna Voight, Rebekah Voight, Jason (Ginny) Packa, Michele (Joe) Reed, Katie Packa, Sarah Packa, John (Lisa) Packa, Ben (Elsa) Packa, David Packa; 43 great-grandchildren; and by many other relatives and friends.

I cant say enough about how much I enjoyed chatting with Rose. I met her at snap fitness and she shared some stories about her childhood and the love for her family. She will be deeply missed. Heaven gained an angel.
