Phyllis J. Olstad (Hofmann), age 78, of Perham, MN and formerly of Coon Rapids, passed away peacefully following a short illness, surrounded by loving family on April 14, 2019 in McAllen, TX. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, May 18th at Strike Life Tributes in Cambridge with a visiting time 1 hour prior. A private interment will be at a later date.
Born in Glenwood, MN Phyllis was an avid gardener, painter & crafter. She graduated from Mpls North High School in 1959 and married Loren Olstad, her boyfriend since 3rd grade, in 1960.
She is survived and deeply missed by her husband, Loren; children Danny (Lauren) Olstad and Melissa (Scott) Arbogast; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Her son, Lee Olstad, parents, a brother and a sister, preceded Phyllis in death.
