Audrey Stewart, age 86, of Isanti died June 24, 2019 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. The Memorial Service will be held at 3 P.M. on Friday, June 28th at Strike Life Tributes in Isanti with visitation 1 hour prior to the memorial service.
Audrey Mae (George) Stewart was born January 7, 1933 to Victor D and Alfrieda M (Bockorny) George of Mora, MN. Audrey grew up in Mora on a farm south east of town. After graduation she moved to Minneapolis to join her sister, MaryLou working at the Paco company. This is where she was introduced to her future sister-in-law, Mae Stewart. On June 30, 1950 she was married to Glenn Edward Stewart at the Park Avenue Methodist Church in Minneapolis. Audrey and Glenn made their first home in Fridley. Eventually in 1974 the family made their way to Isanti where they currently reside. Audrey retired after 32 years as an “A” assembler for the Cornelius manufacturing plant in Anoka, MN. She spent her retirement enjoying spending time traveling with her traveling buddies, luncheons with her husband Glenn, brother-in-law George and sister-in-law Vivian. The four of them spent a lot of time shopping for antiques. The later years, Audrey enjoyed spending time at her son’s cabin on the Mississippi near Becker, MN. She also enjoyed crafts (quilts, pillows, recipe books, Christmas cookies/gingerbread houses, flower arrangements…). Most of all, she loved spending time with her friends and family. The most memorable thing about Audrey is her love for people. She had a huge capacity to share her love of life with whomever she met. Her laughter smile and joy will forever be missed.
Audrey passed away peacefully June 24, 2019 at the age of 86 with her family and dear friends by her side. She is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Stewart, daughter, Lindy Dupuis and son, Jefferey Stewart.
Audrey will be missed by her children and grandchildren: Andy (Tanya) – Anna, Lisa Swanson (Tony), Scott (Marylouise) – Joe – Samantha – Mack and many friends.

Lisa and family, My heart goes out to each of you on the passing of your mother. I know the closeness and the bond that you had with this special lady. May you be comforted as you say good-bye to her and then remember with fondness, all the very special memories that you have of your mom. May you find the needed grace and strength as you move forward in life with a key member of your family in heaven.

Dear Lisa and Family,
I just wanted to tell you how sorry we are about the loss of Your Mother. There is nothing like the love of a Mother and your mom epitomized everything a wife mother and grandmother should be.
She raised a beautiful family. She was Funny and Fun to be with.
Audrey had a huge heart for people and she was willing to help and love all who came to her door. I was so happy that we were able to spend a few hours with her on Friday afternoon.
Audrey was the kind of Mother that others dreamed of having. Audrey gave so much kindness to my family and I will never forget this.
The world was definitely a better place because of her. I will miss the warmth of her smile and the gentle touch of her hugs. She is gone but not really because her light and goodness will always be remembered by all those who knew and loved her.
Your Mom is now in Heaven with all the others before her and I believe she is smiling.
