I met Doris through a mutual friend of ours Joyce Coleman from Stanchfield, many years ago. Then I was visiting Rosewood and there was Doris, what a coincidence that was. So the last two weeks I have been visiting Doris also. What a surprise to learn today when I went to see her that she passed. She was such a nice, vibrant lady. Such a great laugh and sure could play cards good, haha. We always seemed to run into each other at Cub when she drove, so had to stop and girl chat. I so enjoyed knowing her and will miss her. All my prayers and sympathy to her family.
God Bless
Darcy

To the Family, I am truly sorry for your loss. I know you have many wonderful memories shared with Doris . So while you reflect on those memories may they bring a smile to your heart. I know this is a difficult time, but the Bible gives us a wonderful hope for the future for all our dear loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. Jesus said and quoted our assurance time and time again and even John reassured our Heavenly Father promise at John 5:28-29 “there will be a resurrection”. May these words of encouragement comfort you today and the days ahead.
