Carolyn Mae Warren, age 82, of Cambridge and formerly of Dalbo died August 25, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 30th at Karmel Covenant Church, 5799 County Road 6 NW, Princeton. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.
Carolyn Mae Warren was born on October 29, 1936 to Russell and Bessie (Hildreth) Haag in Verdigre, Nebraska. When Carolyn was in the fifth grade her family moved from Oregon to Dalbo, MN. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1954. Carolyn married Albert Allen Warren on August 20, 1955 at Dalbo Baptist Church. They made their home in several areas including Minneapolis in the 1950’s, and Johnsville until 1964 when they moved to Dalbo.
Carolyn was a fantastic homemaker and she also worked outside the home as a manager of housekeeping at Mercy Hospital. She thrived when busy at work, working on her yard, baking pies for neighbors and friends, and caring for her kids, foster kids and neighborhood children. She was also active in youth ministry over the years. She loved music, singing, playing the organ, and hosting and serving others. She was known to make sure everyone had chocolate and that everyone knew the Lord. Her faith was strong and she was a great example for all of us.
Carolyn went to be with her Lord and Savior August 25, 2019 at the age of 82 years, 9 months and 27 days. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert in 2005, and sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Ray Duff. She is survived by her children, Steve Warren, Michael (Denise) Warren, David (Vicky) Warren, and Wendy (Bryan) Kiewel; brother, Gene (Sylvia) Haag; sister, Charlotte (Dave) Lynch; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and by many other relatives and friends.

Carolyn was such a nice lady. I only met her twice, but each time she was very hospitable. We are very sorry for your loss and wish we could be there with you guys.
Georgia Jean Harrington Johnson says
I am Georgia Jean Harrington Johnson. Carolyn and I graduated from Princeton High School in 1954. A long time ago! Carolyn, Lois Quickstrom and Leone House and myself rather chummed together a few of those years.
I am so sorry to hear of Carolyn’s death, those of us living yet today are in our 80’s. I am 83 years old. I do not drive much at all anymore. My computer is basically my connection with the outside world.
Clarice Backland Jackson called me about Carolyn’s death. Please know I am sending her family, relatives and friends my deepest condolences. Most Sincerely,
Georgia
