Troy Daniel Rundquist, age 29, of Anoka died unexpectedly on August 1, 2019 in Los Angeles, California. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 12th at Strike Life Tributes in ISANTI. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Troy Daniel Rundquist was born December 11, 1989 in Coon Rapids to Kevin and Eileen (McDaniel) Rundquist. He was raised in Anoka and graduated from St. Francis High School, Class of 2008. He attended Meadow Creek Church and was baptized at the age of 11. Troy then attended Bethel University and graduated in 2012 and received a bachelor’s degree in Business-Finance. He was very athletic and enjoyed all sports, playing football, baseball, basketball, and golf. He also enjoyed art work, skate boarding and video games. He traveled the country with his family in an RV visiting Disneyland, Washington DC, and Banff, including many other national parks. He was adored by his older brother of ten years and sister of seven years. He had a particularly special bond with his Grandpa Roy. Troy worked at Mansetti’s Pizza and a variety of other odd jobs. Life was a struggle for Troy in his last ten years.
Troy died unexpectedly on August 1, 2019 in Los Angeles, California. He was preceded in death by sister Rose, and grandparents, Larry, Isabelle, and Roy. He is survived by his parents, Kevin and Eileen of Anoka; brother, Lance (Stephanie) Rundquist of Andover; sister, Malinda (Jeff) Altringer of Coon Rapids; grandmother, Elenore Rundquist of Anoka; 5 nieces and nephews, Graham, Kieran, Reagan, Elsie and Cora; and by many other relatives and friends.
