In Memory of Doreen Seppelt

Doreen C. Seppelt, age 80, of Isanti passed away peacefully at Walker Methodist Levande on Sunday, November 3, 2019.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 7th at Christ the King Catholic Church, 305 Fern Street N, in Cambridge.  A visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. until the funeral Thursday at the church.  Interment will be in Christ the King Catholic Cemetery.

Doreen was born on April 13, 1939 to Theodore and Anna (Huver) Billmeyer in Pierz, MN. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Seppelt January 7, 1961 at St. Joseph’s Church in Pierz, MN.

Mom’s main job was to take care of her family. She was a homemaker; we all remember all of the wonderful meals that she cooked for us, especially her chicken dinners. She was a top notch baker. She kept her house as neat as pin and nothing was ever out of place. She was also a very good seamstress. Her granddaughters were her pride and joy. They played many games of Old Maid and Grandma didn’t go easy on them just because they were kids.

Doreen passed away peacefully at Walker Methodist Levande on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the age of 80 years. Doreen was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Anna; loving husband, Kenneth; brothers, Reinhard and Richard; sisters, Leona, Larraine and Donna.

She is survived by loving daughter, Carol (Tim) Sende of Isanti and loving son, Keith (Karen) Seppelt of Isanti; loving granddaughters, Hannah (Alex) Nisen of Otsego, MN and Sarah (Kari) Sende of Hugo, MN; great grandson, Beau Nisen. Her brothers, Ervin (Louise) Billmeyer of Buckman, MN and Jerry (Jeannie) Billmeyer of Sierra Vista, AZ; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
