Timothy Stenson, age 71, of Cambridge and formerly of Isanti, died November 15, 2019 at GracePointe Crossing The Gables. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 23 at North Isanti Baptist Church with a visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Children’s Shelter of Cebu.
On Friday, November 15, 2019 Timothy Stenson, loving husband and father passed away at the age of 71. Because he believed, he is now with Jesus and there is no better place to be.
Timothy Stenson was born in Minneapolis, MN to Claire and Shirley (Kelly) Stenson in 1948. He graduated from Coon Rapids High School in 1967 and from Anoka-Hennepin Technical College in landscaping in 1971. He worked as a greens keeper at Greenhaven Golf Course in Anoka.
He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting and just loved the outdoors. He also loved a good joke and a good laugh.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Terry. He is survived by Bev, his wife of 49 years; his daughter, Mary; his son, Daniel; his brothers, Randy (Rachel) and Kevin (Jackie); his sisters, Joy Pederson, Jackie (Jack) Van Zelst and Julia (Don) Nelson; his sister-in-law, Eva Stenson; his stepmother, Ruth Irwin and so many other friends and relatives.
