Cheryl Lynn Kampa, 60, of Cambridge MN, died January 18, 2020, surrounded by family.
Cheryl enjoyed being with her family. She loved to go camping and fishing. She liked to try new foods and go new places just to peruse. She had a good heart and was awesomely funny. She loved to snicker at her own jokes; which were the best.
Her grandchildren meant everything to her; they were the light of her life. She always told anyone she could about them. She always had a treat in her purse for them or would let them do her hair and nails. She often had weekend sleepovers with her daughters. She loved passing her recipes down to her son, as he would often have her over for dinner.
She always said she was lucky to have the sons-in-law she had, always willing to do anything she needed or crack a joke at.
She loved her mom and was very blessed to live with her and spend each day with her.
She is survived by her son Nick (Charlene) Kampa of Oak Grove, daughter Jessica (Adam) Blais of Isanti, daughter Jill (Ryan) Mattson of Isanti. Sisters Janelle Kampa (Cambridge), Shannon (Joe) Glenn of Zimmerman, Joni Collins (Elk River), Jenna (Travis) Storms of Rice. Brothers Duane (Pam) Collins of Cedar, Richard (Nancy) Collins of Cedar, and Troy (Tanya Schleeter) Collins of St. Cloud. Grandchildren Jennifer, Avery, Adilynn, Jacob, Lucas, and Henry.
Preceded in death by her daughter Jennifer Kampa, father Richard Collins, sister Deborah Collins, brother Kevin Collins, and nephew Travis Gryczkowski.
