Shirley Langmade, age 86, of Cambridge and formerly of East Bethel died February 15, 2020 at GracePointe Crossing The Gables in Cambridge. Funeral service 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 20th at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 19001 Jackson Street NE, East Bethel. Visitation 4 – 7 P.M. Wednesday, February 19th at Strike Life Tributes, 409 Broadway St SE, ISANTI, and also one hour prior to the funeral Thursday at the church. Interment will be in East Bethel Cemetery.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Lyle; son, Tom (Lyn) Langmade; daughters, Sandy (Don) Backerud, Laurie (Rick) Cook; 6 grandchildren,Brigette (Michael) Polmar, Tom Backerud, Tess (Josh) Jewell, Keal Stenson, Alyssa Cook, and Amber Cook; 4 great-grandchildren, Lauren Polmar, William Polmar, Emma Dubovich, and Charlee Sommerfeld; and many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Herbert and Esther (Anderson) Swanson, and two infant brothers, Donald and Marvin. Full obituary pending.
It’s been almost 60 yers since we met, yes hard to believe, but it was only yesterday. And those memories, I hold close to my heart. My most sincere sympathies to Lyle, Sandy, Tom and Lori. Hugs, love and prayers to all.
