Anyone who knew Krystal, knows the love she had for family and life in general. She was one of a kind, caring, generous, fun loving, courageous and kind hearted. Krystal loved to spend time with family and friends. Her joys in life included traveling the world, camping, dancing with her BFF Nicole Betlach, spoiling her nieces and nephews, and cheering on her favorite team – The Minnesota Vikings.
Krystal passed away unexpectedly after a very brief, sudden illness on June 9, 2020 at the age of 37 years, 3 months and 14 days. She is preceded in death by her father, Ryan and grandparents.

I did not know Krystal personally, I very well could have met her at some point though and I don’t remember because I was so young, but she was best friends with cousins of mine and seeing their posts over the last few days has hurt my heart greatly. I am thinking of Krystal, her family and all her friends. I hope Krystal rests in peace, may her loved ones know they have a great guardian angel.
My deepest sympathies,
Gabrielle

Krystal was my first yearbook friend/coworker that I met during some training in Kansas. We kept in touch ever since and anytime we had a sales rally, or summer meeting that included Canadians she always made sure to seek me out. On my most recent visit to Minnesota for work she found the time to treat me to dinner and lots of laughs. Being from Canada I didn’t get to see her often, but we shared yearbook stories and learned from each other along the way. I can tell she was one of the best, her advisers loved her and she will be missed by so many…Deepest condolences to her family friends and her MI coworkers/family..from her yearbook friend in QK Territory Canada-Kate

I’ve known Krystal for at least 3-4 years. Working with her as the co-adviser of my kids school yearbook, but also as a fellow Lifetouch employee. She was often my sounding board when I was testing out new ideas on how to use our data, etc. I had spoken to her so many times in the last couple of weeks regarding some new emails we were working on and asking her opinions and ideas. I am absolutely heartbroken. My condolences to her family!

I remember Krystal as a little girl in California. She was a beautiful, sweet and happy go lucky child. She always seemed to have a smile on her face. It sounds like she had these qualities her whole life. Though her light may have gone out, there is another bright beautiful star in the sky. I’m so deeply saddened, Rose and my heart goes out to you and your family ❤️

This saddens me greatly. Krystal was my yearbook rep and was so good at what she did. She had the patience needed for all those last minute questions. So sorry to hear this.

One of my favorite parts about working on the yearbook was that I got to know Krystal. When speaking last week she was still encouraging me and helping me with things beyond our annual yearbook. She was always willing to go the extra mile, not because it was her job, but because she loved helping people and believed in what she did. Her support and passion left a permanent mark on me. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.
Thank you Krystal, for the many smiles, believing in me, and being a good friend. I already miss you.

Krystal was simply the Best! She and I worked together for the last 5 years creating our yearbook for Lake Middle School in Woodbury Mn. We shared many fun times together and the students absolutely loved her as well. Her patience and sense of humor got me through deadlines and new Yearbook formats that were challenging to say the least. My heart goes out to her family and friends.
