Aunt Elenore was such a sweet person, always communicating her love and care through kind words, cards or phone calls. She will be dearly missed! Some special memories…as a child we listened to wonderful folk music together, went on walks to the park, took care of her garden and flowers, and ate special treats. And more recently I recall enjoying the beautiful Christmas and family reunion celebrations she hosted – such a wonderful demonstration of her care and hospitality. She loved people deeply and held her family very close to her heart. And what an amazing artist she was too…drawing and painting such beautiful flowers, birds and nature. We’ll miss you Aunt Elenore, but we look forward to seeing you again one day in heaven! We love you.

Elenore was my second mother. She took care of our daughter, Lena, as a baby, for several years, while I worked. I recall her telling me how her and Roy prayed for my parents to become Christians, and she was so happy that they did. We had many wonderful times celebrating Christmas and other family get-togethers as well. She showed love to everyone. I will miss her but I know she is celebrating with Jesus, her husband Roy, and my parents in Heaven.
