I truly loved Connie and think of her so often. So many times this spring as I worked in my garden and as I spread out my lily of the valley, I thought I also want to add a white lilac so I can make and share lily of the valley and white lilac bouquets just like the ones Connie made and I was so taken with. I still keep a photo of that on my desktop after all these years. I also think of her often as I prepare something in the kitchen and remember the way she would lovingly describe something she was doing for her family. She was a lovely lady that cared a lot about her family and her work family. Being a part of her work family I can tell you how she made us feel like family. Every Friday we had snack or special treat and every year she put on the best holiday party for our families and she spent weeks putting it all together, wrapping the presents and getting the decorations up. It was really something. And if we walked in the door and it was raining she would say….”if we don’t have any sunshine today, we’ll make our own.” She was just the Best!
And when she knew the pain I experienced when being with my parents when they passed and she shared her love with me and lifted me up so many times. I will always always remember her kindness to me.
We also shared much joy together talking about her granddaughter Jazmyn, (oh she loved you so!). I remember one day she showed me some pool toys, swim suit and I think a small lounge chair for her and she was having a ball with that grand baby!
Brian and Brenda your Mom loved you deeply and it was so great spending time with your Mom and getting the chance to meet and talk with you over the years. Continue to love one another and know that Connie will be with you always. Keep sharing that Love and Kindness and keep it going!

Connie was such a kind and caring person. She made me feel like part of her family. She had such talent and so organized. Our Christmas party’s & floor party’s were the best. She would out do herself every time.
She loved to bake. The cookie platters she would put together at Christmas were remarkable.
Brian & Brenda she loved you so much.
I remember when she told me she was going to be a Grandma, she was beaming from ear to ear. She was so proud of her “ little Jazy” as she would call you Jazmyn.
Now you can rest Connie & have a cup of coffee with Nor. RIP❤️

I am so sad to hear the news of Connie’s passing. She was a very sweet woman and I can still hear her voice in my head, even the way she answered the phone at PD. If it rained, she would say “becareful, sugar melts.” She was just the sweetest. All my love to Connie’s beloved children and Jazmyn.
