Sheila Kay Lumppio, age 77, of East Bethel died July 24, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 30th at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Oak Grove. A memorial visitation will be held one hour prior at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Sheila Kay Lumppio was born June 8, 1944 in Sioux City, Iowa to Arthur and Elizabeth (Buckley) Frey. She was raised and attended school in Sioux City. Sheila moved to Minneapolis where she met Alfred. They were united in marriage on May 29, 1971 in Watertown, South Dakota. They moved to East Bethel where they raised their family and have lived ever since. Sheila was an active member at St. Patrick Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling and she and Alfred visited Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Hawaii, Alaska and many more places. They also wintered in Orange Beach, Alabama for 15 years. Sheila enjoyed crocheting, fishing and she loved watching and feeding the birds.
Sheila passed away July 24, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids at the age of 77 years, 1 month and 16 days. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by siblings, Eugene Frey, Phyllis Miller, Angela Frey, Richard Frey, Damian Frey, Elizabeth “Janice” Frey and Robert Frey.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Alfred; son, Steve (Faith) Lumppio; daughter, Lynn (Steve) Waage; grandchildren, Mya, A.J. and Anna; sisters Rosemary Nelson and Collette Stone; many other relatives and friends.
