Kathleen Otto, age 77 of North Branch, died August 25, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 4th at New Hope Community Church-CAMBRIDGE Campus. A time for visiting will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Kathleen Joyce Otto was born December 20, 1943 in Virginia, Minnesota to Stanley and Joyce (Olson) Petroskey. She was raised in Eveleth, Minnesota and graduated from Eveleth High School. Kathleen married Richard Otto on February 23, 1963 in Millerville, Minnesota. They lived in Douglas County and dairy farmed for several years. In 1986 they moved to the Cambridge area and in 2015 they moved to the North Branch area.
Kathleen was very active in Women’s Ministries in various capacities. She was an active member of Grace Gospel Church in Isanti. Kathleen’s hobbies and interests included being an impeccable quilter, an extraordinary crafter, enjoyed interior decorating, and hosting guests in her home. She was very artistic.
Kathleen died at her home surrounded by her loving family on August 25, 2021 at the age of 77 years. She is survived by her husband, Richard; 6 children, Jackie (Bryan) Lutz, Annette (Jeff) Hoch, Steve (Kriston) Otto, Kristie (Shannon) Boettcher, Lynnae (Craig) Meuer, Rachel (Chris) VanAnda; 22 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 siblings, Karla Chopp, Stanley “Butch” (Toni) Petroskey; and by many other relatives and friends.

Kathy was only my sister-in-law but my friend. We shared much over the years including finding the Lord together which now is a great comfort!
Kathy always had a heart for ministry & was well known for her warm hospitality & her humor. She will be missed!

So sorry to hear about your loss! Kathy was a fun and loving co-worker. I will never forget, my first day on the job, she was working as a Teller. You see, the breakroom table was “common ground” anything on the table was shared. Someone forgot to share with me this small bit of information when giving me a tour of the breakroom. My lunch didn’t need refrigeration that day. Hence, it was on the table. Well, Kathy ate my lunch! with a smile and a chuckle! She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
