Margaret “Peggy” Wells, age 79 of Cedar, died unexpectedly on October 2, 2021 at Cambridge Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 9th at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 19921 Nightingale Street NW, Oak Grove, with a visitation 1 hour prior at church. There will also be a visitation from 5 – 8:00 P.M. on Friday, October 8th, at Strike Life Tributes in Isanti.
Margaret “Peggy” Josephine Wells was born July 16, 1942 in St. Lawrence, South Dakota to Edward and Margaret (Weidner) Egan. The family moved to Cedar, Minnesota where she was raised and attended school. Margaret graduated from St. Francis High School, Class of 1960. She married Robert L. “Buck” Wells on July 7, 1964 and they have made their home in Cedar. Margaret was a member of Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Oak Grove. She especially enjoyed all of the family activities, doing puzzles, traveling and going to the casino with her sisters.
Margaret died unexpectedly on October 2, 2021 at the Cambridge Medical Center at the age of 79 years. She is survived by 5 children, Catherine (Troy) Turner, Robby Wells (Becky Palmer), Suzy Wells, James (Roxanne) Wells, A.J. Wells; 6 grandchildren, Sam, Mara, J.T., Joseph, Victoria, Emily; 1, great-granddaughter, Janessa; 2 siblings, Elizabeth Irwin, Maureen Williams; and by many other relatives and friends. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; 5 siblings, Mary Hackbarth, William Egan (Mickey), Edward Egan, Susan Hartfiel, Joseph Egan.
