I remember Rose from St. Andrew Lutheran Church. She was a very kind and compassionate woman and she always made sure to talk with me when she attended St. Andrew Lutheran Church. We traded phone numbers and would chat a couple times a year. We always talked about getting together, but never got to actually get together other than the phone chats. She will be missed, but we have the memories of how she touched our hearts and lives. I’m sure she will be with our GOD and Jesus waiting for us.

I am so very sad that I couldn’t make it in time to say goodbye, Grandma. I was looking forward to enjoying a cozy warm meal with you for thanksgiving. What made it doubly difficult was the fact that you passed 2 days before my birthday. You always send me a well-thought-out card with cash, no matter how “tight” finances were. You could always make me laugh and I could talk to you about anything. You will be remembered for many things, but mostly my heart bleeds because you were an amazing healer and matriarch. You were careful but would always make time for your grandchildren and daughters. My deepest regret that will haunt me, is that I hadn’t seen you since 2017 and your memory is permanently dimmer due to my absence. You taught me how to do the right thing and filled my heart with warmth. You will be missed. Godspeed O mighty traveler, of lands afar, may your spirit never dull and your memory never fade.
I say goodbye as you enter the annals of history and undying legacy.
Farewell with the deepest, most compassionate love, your grandson,
Jarryd
