In Memory of Susan M. Roland

Susan Marie Roland gained her wings on November 21, 2021.  Susan’s daughters will arrange a family gathering to celebrate her life at a later date.  She will be greatly missed, and her memory will always be a blessing.

Susan Marie Roland gained her wings on November 21, 2021.  She was born on October 21, 1957, in Oskaloosa, Iowa to Donald Eugene Darland and Mary Jeanette (Roberts) Darland.  Susan was raised in Eddyville, Iowa and loved being outside, among the trees, flowers, and animals.  She loved spending time with her husband, family and reading was a passion of hers.

She married Ronald Roland in 1992 and remained married until his passing on April 7, 2021.  Upon Ronald’s passing, Susan moved to Isanti, Minnesota to be near her youngest daughter.  She is survived by daughter Elizabeth Kerr of Isanti, daughter Katherine Medeiros-Oropeza of Texas, son-in-law Steven Oropeza, family member Darlette Knox, four grandkids, three great-grandkids and her siblings Donald, John, and Julie Darland.  Susan is preceded in death by her husband Ronald and parents Donald and Mary.
