Erma was such a positive life force. She was a model of grace, daily accepting Job like adversity while maintaining focus on her many blessings. Her love for Sally and her beloved Angel shone brightly and defied bodily containment. Their was a passion in Erma and it was a joy to know her. She defied the mental confines of age, embracing technology and sharing her daily life experiences in diary form. In her presence their was warmth and kindness, laughter and joy. Erma was my friend and I was hers. I consider myself blessed to have known her, if only for a few short years. Rest In Peace sweet lady ((hugs always))

Sweet Erma was always popping up on my face book post of my pups. I knew who she was but didn’t know her personally. That didn’t stop her from always telling me that she loved me dearly. After a few months of her telling me how much she loved my pups we set up a day to visit and I brought my fur babies with to visit also. I always tried to visit whenever we had a new foster pup or if I was pup sitting for friends. She loved to love on every pup I brought through her door. At the end of our first visit when she hugged me and said her famous phrase “Love you dearly, Jen” I found myself saying it back and deeply meaning it. She was one of those people that was accepting of everyone and had a way of sneaking into your heart without you even realizing it. Unfortunately the last time I talked to her about visiting life was pretty hectic for her and we didn’t get that last visit. Her presence made this world a better place and she will be greatly missed.
I love you dearly, Erma, R.I.P sweet lady!
