So many fond memories of this wonderful lady. She was so interesting , and talents.
She and my husband (Howard) worked together at Isanti Country, and they developed a great friendship.
She had Howard build wood items and she would do her art on them. I am so pleased to have some and love them.
I will surly miss her as many others will. She loves her Lord and is now with Him.

One of my treasures is a painting, Gladys did of my husband’s ancestral home in Ardal, Norway. It has a place of high honor in our home. Gladys was a wonderful gifted woman and fiercely Norwegian. I am blessed to have known her.

Gladys was one of the most wonderful friends you could ever have. She was so gifted. She shared her God given gift with everyone that knew her. One of the most loved things about Gladys you always knew where she was coming from. I loved that about her. That made her special to me. We had so many of the same views. I will miss her, but I feel so blessed to have known her.

Gladys was a very gifted artist and special person. She encouraged me in my interest in Rosemaling and was a dear friend. I will miss her, as will many others in our community who were privileged to know both Gladys and Ervie.

I’m so thankful for my wonderful friendship with Gladys and Ervey over the years. Learning painting and wood carving from them, helping them at the festival of nations.
She was like my second Mom, when we would end a call she would say, Jesus loves you and so do I.
Grateful that God brought her into my life and now she can rest peacefully in eternal life.

Gladys was my favorite painting teacher. She gave a special set of Dutch Folk Painting classes, where I first met this fascinating talented woman. Later on, she instructed me in Rosemaling. She really made a difference in my life. Because of her, many art traditions will live on into the future.

Gladys was so talened and wonderful to get information about culture of which she painted. She paintrd 2 wall mutals for my business, they were spectacular. Everyday I work at my new business, I look at the 8′ and 7′ shelves she painted in the 80’s and think of her sweet spirit. Rest in peace my dear friend.
