Jodie Engels, age 52, of Cambridge and formerly of Isanti, died April 7, 2022 at home. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 13th at Strike Life Tributes in CAMBRIDGE. A time for visiting will be held from 5 PM until the service at 7 PM.
Jodie Kay Engels was born August 22, 1969 in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. She attended schools in St. Francis, graduating from St. Francis High School in 1987. On September 15, 1995 she married Russell Engels and they made their home in Isanti. Jodie was instrumental in starting the Outhouse Races for Isanti Rodeo-Jubilee Days. Jodie worked for the Star Newspaper selling ads and talking pictures at events. She excelled in sales at RV World and later at Camping World. She loved her job. Jodie was a passionate, strong, caring and relentlessly positive person. She was an animal lover, especially her dogs, enjoying spending time outside with them. She loved adventure and travel, with many a road trip starting with no particular destination in mind. Jodie was a passionate and loving mom, deeply involved in the life of her son and any other she knew needed love and guidance. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
Jodie passed away April 7, 2022 at home in Cambridge, MN at the age of 52 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Fahrmann, and step-sister, Nikki Fahrmann. She is survived by her husband, Russell; son, Matthew; brothers, Cody Fahrmann and Mike Falck; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Michelle Engels, Scott and Annette Engels, and Kevin Engels; and by other relatives and countless friends.
