Karen O'Bryan says
Judy was a wonderful friend and neighbor, next door to me in Pine Village. I stopped to see her most evenings. We laughed a lot, shared family memories, ate meals together, which were really good when their family friend Teddy cooked his freshly caught fish meal and he even made delicious dessert. Judy’s life was mostly confined to a chair because of her health. She never complained and really loved bragging about her 4 grown kids, 2 of their late spouses, all of her grandkids and great grandkids. Jim who shoveled would make a path thru the snow so I could go to Judy’s home easier. She gave me the World’s Best compliment when she said I was her Life Saver. When she moved to Grace Pointe Crossing for more care, I always asked her about her complete care there and she always said the whole staff treated her awesome. It made me so happy because Cambridge is my hometown. I’ll cherish the gifts she gave me. She loved her teddy bear that her Daughter Jill made for her. I also put a teddy bear in a bag of gifts for her. She kept her 2 bears on her bed so she could cuddle and talk to them. She got so happy, she felt like crying altho she couldn’t get tears. We watched Golden Girls almost every night and laughed and laughed. RIP Sweet Friend and Neighbor Judy. I always told her, “I love you neighbor”. I’ll sure miss you until we meet again. I’ll talk to you in the night sky like I do to my family. Love and Prayers, from Karen O’Bryan
