Larry K. Axelson, age 77, of Isanti died May 27, 2022 at home. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, June 25th at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3812 229th Ave NW, St Francis, MN.
On Friday, May 27th, 2022, Larry Kenneth Axelson (Isanti, Minnesota) devoted husband and loving father, passed away at the age of 77. Larry was a kind, generous man who was always willing to lend a helping hand, and a warm smile, to family, friends, and neighbors. An avid outdoorsman, Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a skilled gardener, carpenter, and all-around handyman, who loved tinkering. Larry, perhaps most of all, loved watching the birds at his bird feeder. Larry was preceded in death by Bonnie Axelson, his wife of 53 years, whom he loved dearly. He is survived by his daughter, Lori Tanner, his son Daren Axelson, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Larry was a kind and gentle man and his knowledge of gardening and his willingness to share that knowledge was amazing, I will remember him every time I go to my garden. Rest In Peace Larry.
