Bernice got married to George on October 5, 1962, in the summer of 1964, Bernice’s mother left, and Bernice and George raised 10 of her siblings, they had the biggest hearts, no hesitation, with all the siblings and trying to make it. With loving, care and giving of themselves, as things settled down they had 3 children of their own.
Bernice worked at Prudential Life Insurance Company before retiring and doing part time work as a cashier and enjoying talking with people, spending time with the grandchildren and taking care of us was her job, she was giving and kind, she would go without just so you could have what you needed, she was always concerned about everyone else before herself.
Bernice had battled cancer 2 times with success, Dementia was a later diagnosis, she still had a heart of gold, her laughter was infectious, her smile was wonderful and her beautiful blue eyes.
Teresa Watercott says
I’m so sorry to hear of Bernices passing. I admired her. She never treated me like I didn’t belong when I was with Paul. I know she touched many hearts and will be missed greatly.
