Vernon J. Waldoch, age 91, of Isanti died September 9, 2022 at Homestead of Anoka. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, September 13th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Isanti. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Military Honors will be provided by the Isanti VFW. Interment will be in St. John The Baptist Catholic Cemetery in New Brighton. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Vernon J. Waldoch, age 91, of Isanti, passed away from cancer on September 9, 2022. Vern was preceded in death by his wife Donna, his brothers Herman and Arnold and his parents Joseph and Antoinette. Vern is survived by his daughter Debbie (Greg) Fuller; grandchildren Phillip, Brian, Andrea, Mindy and Katelyn; great-grandchildren Zachary, Tyler and Kailey.
Vern was born October 24, 1930 in New Brighton, MN to Joseph and Antoinette Waldoch. Vern served in the Air Force for four years during the Korean War in Panama. After returning from the Air Force, he married his loving wife of 50 years, Donna. Vern and Donna moved to Isanti in the early 1980s, where he loved gardening, riding his tractor, driving his scooter and most importantly spending time with his family. Vern enjoyed deer hunting with his son-in-law and fishing, especially his annual ice fishing trips to Zippel Bay on Lake of the Woods with family and friends. Vern was very active in his church community at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, including his work with the Knights of Columbus. Vern will be deeply missed by his family, many friends and relatives.

So sorry for your loss. Vern was such a character & I know his family will deeply miss him. He particularly had a special place as a father, grandfather & great grandfather.

So sorry to hear about Vern. He was always fun to talk to. We didn’t hear about his death until Monday night and had a prior commitment. Whenever we would drive by on our golf cart we would always admire his garden. We don’t know how he did it. Ours is always a mess. He will be missed.

Oh Debbie I just saw this.I was googling info in reference to New Brighton MN. Your Dad was such a wonderful man and your Mom was such a kind loving person. They were on obviously deeply in love and the older I get the more I see that. Your Dad went out of his way to pay attention to me he bought me Burger King and pigs feet !
