Tracy gave so much of herself throughout her life. She was gifted and shared her talents joyfully. Her light shinned through her every day and paved the way for anyone in her path to receive it. She took time with others, listened intently and no matter the need, she tried her best to help. She was encouraged by her family to live fully. She had a strong love of animals and respect for others. She was thrilled to be part of the world of theatre, band and choir as well as nurturing family and friendships. Tracy had a beautiful singing voice and loved music. She was an avid reader. Everyone was touched by her heart of gold. Tracy’s encouraging outlook impacted many. Her feistiness, quirkiness and clever humor was a loving part of her. Tracy’s laugh (snort) was quick and sincere. She was so easy to be around. She will be greatly missed. One of my strongest memories of my mom is from when I was younger. Every night, never fail, when she tucked Eden and I into bed, she would sing to us. She always sang “Baby Mine” from Dumbo. The song fit so perfectly in her voice, and it was so soothing. She would rub our back and play with our hair. As we got older, I remember her sitting me down at the piano and making sure I knew the song as well so that I could sing it to my kids one day. I plan to do just that. I hope that that is one way I can keep her memory alive.

While I haven’t spoken with Tracy in a handful of years, I have many, many, many great memories of her from our time together as a part of the JC Concert Choir (so many tours) and also being her informal roommate for a semester sophomore year. :) I will always remember her for her bright personality and caring way at interacting with the people around her. I see her quite obviously in each of her children, which is so cool to see because she was definitely a bright light in each room that she was in. I am happy for the times that we shared as friends and will cherish those memories forever.

My mom was such an amazing woman. She taught me everything I need to know, especially about cooking. Many of my friends know me now for being such an avid cook, and I always let them know I took after my mom. I saw with her in the kitchen, taking in every little fact and technique I could. I will continue to create for her, and share all my recipes and dishes to all my friends and family. May mom rest easy, and make the best food she can with all the ingredients in heaven. Love you, mom.

Tracy was my first best friend. Even as a young child, I remember her as a bright spirited, quirky, funny, snorting, singing happy person who could shine her light everywhere she arrived. We took piano lessons together, biked to each others houses, did ski club and swimming together. I deeply feel this loss for her family, her children, and everyone that has known and loved her. May you rest in peace, Tracy.
