Dorothy Crook, age 95, of Coon Rapids died December 14, 2022. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 21st at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Oak Grove. A visiting time will be held 1/2 hour prior to the funeral Wednesday at the church.
Dorothy Crook was born September 13, 1927, in Salford, England to Alfred and Elsie (Longworth) Watts. She grew up and attended school in Salford. On August 28, 1954, Dorothy married John Fredrick Crook in Manchester, England. They immigrated to Canada in 1957 and then to the United States in 1963 where they raised their family. Over the years, Dorothy worked as a switchboard operator in England, a store detective in Canada, and retired as a sales clerk from Holiday Village in Fridley, MN. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, art, nature, music, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Dorothy passed away on December 14, 2022 at the age of 95 years, 3 months and 1 day. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Esmaeil) SanAhmadi; son, Gary (Susan) Crook; grandchildren, Laila SanAhmadi, Nathan (Kenedy) Crook, and Olivia Crook; and other relatives and friends.
Dorothy was and remains forever loved and cherished by her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
