Heather Brooke LaBelle was born December 10, 1974 to Bruce and Sarah Joe Prigge. Heather loved to make sure everyone was fed, had a passion for the beach and loved animals of all kinds. She loved books and listening to her radio. She loved her kids and her lovie. When she told you something, you knew she meant it. She was honest and to the point, but she was sweeter than wine when you cracked her shell. She had a strong heart and was firm in her opinions, but was quick to empathize with people. She never held back to tell her family that she loved them.
Heather was hilarious and beautiful. Her eyes sparkled when she smiled. Her laugh was contagious and her smile was brighter than any other.
She was a great teacher and a great listener. Heather enjoyed long conversation and would prefer it over watching TV or playing games. She was a blessing to our family and we should continue our lives with her kind spirit in all of our hearts. She will be missed until we meet her again. Her life has left a lasting impact on all of those who had the privilege to know her.
Heather died December 8, 2022 at home. She is preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Joe.
Heather is survived by her husband, Jason; children. Tristan, Ashton, Aviaenta (David); father, Bruce; and 8 siblings.
I have known Heather since the day she was born, she was part of our family from that day on, I was her K-K, she would never call me anything but that, she will be missed so very much, I’m so glad that her family got the pleasure to have her as a mother and wife because she’s one of the most loving and caring people I have known in my life!!
Oh how I miss my momma. I could sit and talk with her for hours and I would be completely entertained the entire time. My mom had an amazing ability to talk with pretty much anyone. She was the light in every room. She was one of my best friends. There was never a dull moment with her.
